Sure, we have and use all those things too - but we have some of the most passionate, talented, dedicated cyclists in the industry working to make you the best bicycle possible and provide an unparalleled customer service experience.

We truly believe that the only way to properly design a bicycle is with a full in-house fabrication facility. Rather than outsource our prototyping process - where much information and communication is lost - by having our engineering and fabrication linked together during the design phase - we make sure we have riders with decades of experience designing your frame. CNC machines, welding tables, lathes, and a host of other equipment are all at our disposal in our Anaheim factory - and we make liberal use of them to put our "3-D" ideas into physical models.

Led by renowned frame designer and world-class fabricator Ted Tanouye - we work closely with world champions like Lars Tribus and some of the best factories in the world - to ensure that every aspect of your frame breathes pure passion and incredible performance.

Frames
HX1 26 Hardtail	The HX1 is reminiscent of CHUMBA's long-standing heritage - dialed geometry, simplicity, elegance, and outstanding craftsmanship using only the highest-quality materials. The HX1 is a tough trail bike built around a five inch fork. We've designed it with a sleek ultra-light eccentric bottom bracket for easy disc brake use - and it can be set up as a single speed or with gears. We also offer a replaceable derailleur hanger. Set it up as a rigid single speed or a trail bike with five inches of travel. The HX1 reveals the performance and beauty of a world-class hardtail.
HX2 29 Hardtail	It's official - CHUMBA has joined the 29er movement. Built as a tough trail bike similar to the HX1, the HX2 is designed around a five-inch fork and also offers a sleek eccentric bottom bracket for set up as a single speed or with gears. It also comes with a replaceable derailleur hanger. The HX2's rigidity makes sure all of your power hits the ground - and its elegant styling gives credence to CHUMBA's heritage of the highest quality craftsmanship.
VF2 Cross Country	After 2 years of R&D, CHUMBA Racing based out of Anaheim, California, released our newest addition to the line up. The VF2 - named after our CNC machine - will fill the role of the light weight, race-inspired, cross-country bike. Coming in at an astounding weight of just 5.8lbs. with shock - the VF2 is one of the lightest bikes in its class.
XCL Trail	The XCL - one of CHUMBA's most popular bikes - is the true workhorse of the family. The XCL is internationally acclaimed as one of the most versatile, durable, and refined trail bikes by well-known magazines such as Mountain Bike Action and Velo Vert. Over ten years in development and raced and tested by world champions, the XCL offers a buttery smooth suspension and is built to take a beating. The XCL makes use of sophisticated technological features that are exclusive to CHUMBA - such as braces in our linkage pieces and inverted bottom bracket shells. These features combined with CHUMBA's racing heritage produces a bike that offers unparalleled stiffness, tracking, and handling. EVO All mountain/Fr	Form follows function. We've seen the evolution of mountain bike suspension designs, and we've realized its time to bring something new to the market. Using the patent pending Force Channeling Suspension design, we bring you a bike that inspires downhill racing confidence on your descent, while keeping the chassis light.
F5 Downhill	Chumba Racing's F5, a race bred downhill machine with multiple national championships under its belt. Internationally acclaimed as one of the best designed and performing downhill frames ever made, the F5 is a symbol of CHUMBA's racing heritage and commitment to evolving technology that can compete and win at the highest levels of competition.
